Using basketball as a teaching tool and Garrison’s book The Crossover: A Bridge from the Court to Life, Think First Global offers programming that gives youth athletic, mental health, financial, and emotional resilience tools to equip them to “Think First” and make positive life choices.
Growing up with a single mother working three jobs, Garrison deeply understands the unique social and economic environment that some youth face. Coupled with his own experience of ups and downs on and off the court and understanding the impacts of those decisions, Garrison is passionate about helping youth make better life-defining choices.

Kristen Clark has a passion for growing ideas, companies, and people! She is an intentional leader with 10+ years of executive experience who takes great pride in her work with Think First Global, where she is able to thoughtfully support the development of children and athletes as they learn critical life skills through basketball.
She's founded and led 3 companies in the technology startup world and was previously an executive at a social impact startup that worked with organizations such as the Gates Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and World Central Kitchen. She helped build and launch one of the first education products on the Salesforce Platform that was implemented in 1,300 schools in New York City and 12 charter schools in Washington, D.C.
Anthony Davis has committed his life to serving the youth of this community, not only through basketball but through mentorship and involvement in non-profit initiatives. Anthony Davis has committed his life to serving the youth of this community, not only through basketball but through mentorship and involvement in non-profit initiatives. With 20+ years of coaching experience, he has led teams at the middle and high school level, as well as college. Coach Davis has had worked with athletes who have been recognized as Parade Magazine All-American, Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year, McDonald’s All-American, Jordan Brand Game selections, All-Conference, and many of which who have gone on to receive collegiate athletic scholarships.
David Bailey, former professional basketball player that has a true passion and a unique way for supporting kids. Avid youth development social worker, David has spent hundreds of hours mentoring and volunteering for youth communities.
Collegiate Director for University of Maryland Fellowship of Christian Athletes and serves as co-chaplain for the Washington Spirit. She previously coached at Academy of the Holy Cross, Washington Christian, Spotsylvania High School and Fredericksburg Christian. A certified Mental Game Instructor through the International Mental Game Coaching Association.
Raven is getting her PhD in Sports Psychology. After 8 years coaching college basketball at the Division I, II and III levels, and the previous four years coaching youth basketball., Raven is passionate about helping athletes apply the “winning” qualities they acquire on the court to everyday life.
A DC Native, some would say the greatest basketball player to come out of DC. Robinson had his share of ups and downs and is now committed to helping kids not only develop exceptional basketball skills, but learn critical life skills to avoid the mistakes he made. A fantastic coach, mentor, he has helped a countless number of students in DC and Maryland not only on the court but in life.
